Annette Vogel has been a musician all her life. She can be found from Dublin to Amsterdam to Paris and the south of France with guitar and a case full of original songs with bassist Mario by her side. They play in bars, cafés and restaurants and they really like busking. 

Biography

At the age of 15 Annette bought her first guitar and three weeks later she sang 'House of the Rising Sun' under the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), and that was the beginning of her career in music. Annette studied at the Conservatorium Groningen, the Netherlands. She played in several bands and toured Europe and the USA. Currently she lives in Amsterdam.

Annette is a songwriter who stands out for her style. Her music is influenced by the folk of Sandy Denny (Fairport Convention).

Together with Mario Kaspers on bass she forms a duo that stands out in the songwriter scene of Amsterdam and surroundings. Mario originally played in rock/metalbands but plays his parts in the songs of Annette melodious and functional. Guitar, vocals and bass layered in the voices. Jazzy, funky. Numerous topics are covered in the lyrics. Warming up our souls with sounds similar to Joni Mitchel, Suzanne Vega and Katie Melua.
